Our story
A roaster, a harbour and a lot of early mornings
Maya opened Saltmarsh in 2019 in a former net loft on Commercial Street. Today we roast about 300 kg a week on a 15-kilo drum roaster and sell it in our café, online and to restaurants across Maine.
We buy green coffee from three importers who pay farms well above the market price, and we print the farm and the harvest on every bag.
